Located in the Lombardia region of Italy, Madesimo is a large ski resort with slopes mostly for intermediate skiiers, six miles of cross country skiing trails, and four half pipes for snow boarders. The closest international airport is in Milan and the resort is also in close proximity to the beautiful Lake Como. Winter is the off season for international tourists in Italy, so there is sure to be plenty of room for you and your friends in these mountains.

Stowe, Vermont’s largest mountain, Mount Mansfield, boasts 48 different trails which are suitable for intermediate – expert skiers and snowboarders while Spruce Peak’s lower altitude is more accessible to beginners. Stowe also has all the elements of a typical New England town and is easy to explore in the evening after you’re finished with the slopes.

Said to be the adventure capitol of New Zealand, Queenstown offers something more unique than a traditional ski vacation with experiences such as Nordic and night skiing available. Of course there are also opportunities for a more standard day on the mountain for skiers of all levels as well.

Aspen, Colorado is one of the most famous ski go-to’s in the US. It has about 64 miles of trails and options for skiers and snowboarders of all levels. Plus, they just got a new gondola, so there’s that.
