via @soultravelers3 - I spent a lot of free time studying ancient Roman and Greek myths in middle school. While I’ve grown out of my huge dork phase, a part of me is still obsessed with the fanciful settings of these parables, which is why I had to suppress tiny squeals while perusing this list of 15 awesome Roman/Greek ruins.

via @Travelanswerman – Did you know there’s a giant floating bookshop that sails around the world spreading everything “from college textbooks to cookery books” to multinational bookworms? Well, now you do.

via @gran_tourismo – My summer beach body diet just started, meaning I have to abstain from the majority of my favorite global dishes. However, I can still feast my eyes on pictures and descriptions of food, like the ones in this roundup of foodie walking tours around the world. Totally the same thing. Much more satiating.

via @SmarterTravel – I’m always so flustered when going through the security checkpoint at airports outside of the US, because I never know if I have to take my shoes off or not. Seriously, you’ve never known shame until a staunch Dutch woman named Gert yells at you to put your boots back on before walking through her metal detector in Amsterdam. Perhaps I’ll be able to save myself further embarrassment in the future with this list of international flight security rules.

via @thinkingnomads – Aaaaand here are 17 pictures of cats sitting in suitcases. Enjoy.
